The Vaccum Extruder
2021 - London, UKI decided to take an old, unused Dyson vacuum cleaner and turn it into a clay extruder.
This project involved disassembling the vacuum to access its motor and then connecting it to a piece of metal pipe fitted with a clay extrusion die. By controlling the vacuum's airflow, I could regulate the clay extrusion process. Before using it for real, I tested the extruder, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
This project breathed new life into the broken vacuum, giving me a valuable tool for my pottery and crafting endeavors, all while reducing waste.
