SUPERFLUX STUDIO
London - 2025As part of a commission for Superflux Studio, I
fabricated the metal structures that form the core
of three sculptural pieces for the installation
Nobody Told Me Rivers Dream, presented at the
Design Museum, London, within the exhibition
More than Human: Making with the Living World
(July - October 2025).
The installation explores how artificial intelligence can help us attune to the living world’s intricate intelligence, focusing on the river Thames. Three sculptural objects — each intricately handcrafted — capture environmental data such as birdsong, tidal flows, and shifting skies. This data then informs AI models trained not only on scientific datasets but also on folklore and ecological wisdom.
My role was the fabrication of the main metal structures, giving physical form to the sculptures’ conceptual vision and ensuring their durability and precision for exhibition.
