Marta is a catalan artist, designer and maker who currently lives between Barcelona and London. They completed their degree in Product Design at ELISAVA (2018), and later graduated with in MA Material Futures from Central Saint Martins, UAL (2021).

Their practice is rooted in metalwork, which they approach through both traditional and experimental techniques. Marta enjoys hands-on making and applying their technical skills to create objects, furniture, and installations.

For more than four years, they have worked as a technician in the wood, metal and digital fabrication workshops at Central Saint Martins, specializing in metal fabrication. They have collaborated with brands such as Nike and Superflux Studio, and continue to develop their personal practice using e-waste and discarded metal as core materials.

Their work combines sustainability, craftsmanship, and technology, has been exhibited in museums such as the Design Museum in London and the Disseny Hub in Barcelona, and is still on display at Il·Lacions Design Gallery.
